THE SITUATION

The John Jacobs rebrand brought a fresh wave of excitement to the Indian eyewear market. We were invited to support the brand in its undertaking to disrupt the status quo and uphold a new cultural shift through a ‘Surrealist Edit’!

THE MOOD

This was a clear opportunity to collectivise the Irregulars mindset and community in order to draw attention to the all new John Jacobs world.

We began to depict parallel worlds of ‘what if’s’ from the current existing world order, defining a change in perspective that compels the end consumer to take a lifestyle action.

A SURREALIST OUTCOME

We created a world, one rooted in futurism and surrealism with vast landscapes and vivid colour palettes for pioneering characters to live and thrive in.

Blending a mix of real and surreal, a closer look even gives one a sneak peek into the usage of the new John Jacobs identity in the patterns of the character’s custom made apparel.

LAND OF SURREALIST

Serving as familiar yet new personas for the new John Jacobs audience, the character names and roles were created with the intention to reframe the future.

Hydra - an AI trainer and technician
Evelyn - a technology tutor and trainer
Delphi - a social media lawyer
Dewey - a smart clothing designer
Tecla - a green power creator
Elara - a space travel influencer
Lucca - a vertical farmer and genetic seed engineer

All of different ethnicities, the characters belonged to Jacobia, a land of the Surrealists.

A SURREALIST OUTCOME

The campaign reached a million people across the ecosystem, and we were excited at the least for the world to witness another masterpiece in its continuum of surrealism.
